Located at 1355 Black River Parkway in Lorain (where the kayak rental equipment is located), the Black River Wharf Boat Launch is the perfect destination for kayaking and is only a couple miles away from Port Lorain.

For just one payment of $250, customers can access our kayak rentals once per day (for up to 2 hours) at both our Lorain and Cleveland locations. See more about our new program here.
Where can you find us?

The entrance to the marina is just a quick jaunt from the intersection of 14th Street and Broadway Avenue. Its large parking lot (170 spaces) provides adequate room for larger trucks hauling boats and gear.
In addition to beautiful views of the Black River, the Wharf also features a sizable pavilion with several picnic tables that are ideal for a lunch near the waterfront.
